At Annie’s Cavapoo Puppies, the health and well-being of every Cavapoo puppy we place with a family is extremely important to us. We are committed to raising healthy, happy, and well-socialized Cavapoo puppies and providing our puppy families with confidence and peace of mind when welcoming their new companion home.
This 2-Year Genetic Health Guarantee explains the genetic and hereditary health commitment provided by Annie’s Cavapoo Puppies for the puppy identified below.

1. 2-Year Genetic Health Guarantee
Annie’s Cavapoo Puppies guarantees that, at the time of placement, the Cavapoo puppy is free from known life-altering genetic or hereditary conditions that would prevent the puppy from living a normal companion life.
This 2-Year Genetic Health Guarantee begins on the puppy’s date of placement with the Buyer and remains in effect for two (2) years from that date.
This guarantee specifically applies to qualifying genetic or hereditary conditions that materially affect the puppy’s quality of life and meet the requirements outlined in this agreement.
This guarantee is not a guarantee against every illness, injury, or medical condition that may occur during a puppy’s life.
2. Buyer’s Responsibilities for Cavapoo Puppy Care
The Buyer agrees to provide the Cavapoo puppy with appropriate lifelong care, including:

A clean, safe, and nurturing home environment

Appropriate, nutritious food

Clean drinking water
-
Routine veterinary care
-
Age-appropriate vaccinations
-
Appropriate parasite prevention
-
Regular exercise
-
Proper socialization
-
Prompt veterinary attention when illness or injury is suspected

Compliance with veterinary recommendations
The Buyer understands that responsible ownership and appropriate veterinary care are important parts of maintaining the puppy’s health and well-being.
3. Veterinary Care
Annie’s Cavapoo Puppies strongly encourages every family to establish a relationship with a trusted licensed veterinarian after bringing their Cavapoo puppy home.
Routine veterinary care, vaccinations, parasite prevention, appropriate nutrition, exercise, and preventative healthcare are important responsibilities of the new owner.
This genetic health guarantee does not replace routine veterinary care or pet insurance.
4. What the Genetic Health Guarantee Covers
This Cavapoo genetic health guarantee applies specifically to a qualifying life-altering genetic or hereditary condition that:

Is diagnosed during the two-year guarantee period;

Is confirmed by a licensed veterinarian; and

Meets the requirements of this agreement.
The Buyer may be required to provide written veterinary documentation, medical records, diagnostic results, laboratory results, or other reasonable supporting information concerning the suspected genetic or hereditary condition.
Annie’s Cavapoo Puppies reserves the right to request a second veterinary opinion when reasonably necessary to determine whether a condition qualifies under this guarantee.
5. What the Cavapoo Health Guarantee Does Not Cover
This guarantee does not cover conditions, illnesses, injuries, or expenses resulting from or associated with:

Accidents or physical injury

Neglect or abuse
-
Improper nutrition or care
-
Obesity or improper weight management
-
Environmental conditions
-
Inadequate veterinary care
-
Infectious or contagious diseases acquired after placement

Parasites acquired after placement
-
Allergies or food sensitivities
-
Conditions caused by spaying or neutering
-
Cosmetic or non-life-altering conditions
-
Conditions that are not genetic or hereditary
-
Normal puppy development
-
Normal teething
-
Normal growth variations
-
Breed-related characteristics
-
Veterinary expenses
-
Medications
-
Diagnostic testing
-
Treatment costs
-
Transportation or travel expenses
-
Boarding expenses
-
Other costs incurred by the Buyer
This guarantee specifically addresses qualifying genetic and hereditary health conditions and does not guarantee that a Cavapoo puppy will never experience illness, injury, or another medical condition.
6. Making a Genetic Health Claim
If the Buyer believes their Cavapoo puppy has developed a condition that may qualify under this guarantee, the Buyer should contact Annie’s Cavapoo Puppies in writing as soon as reasonably possible following the diagnosis.

Diagnostic or laboratory results

Additional documentation reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim
Annie’s Cavapoo Puppies reserves the right to request a second veterinary opinion when reasonably necessary to determine whether the reported condition qualifies under this 2-Year Genetic Health Guarantee.
7. Replacement Cavapoo Puppy or Puppy Fee Transfer
If a claim is approved under this guarantee, the Buyer may choose between the remedies described below, subject to the terms and limitations of this agreement.
Option A — Replacement Cavapoo Puppy
The Buyer may receive a replacement Cavapoo puppy of comparable value from an available or future litter.
A replacement puppy will be provided when an appropriate puppy becomes available.
Availability is subject to the timing and availability of suitable litters.
Option B — Puppy Fee Transfer
The Buyer may elect to transfer the original puppy purchase price toward another Cavapoo puppy or future litter, subject to availability and the terms of this guarantee.
Where applicable, the Buyer will receive priority puppy selection from the applicable litter.
8. Limitation of Liability
This Cavapoo health guarantee is limited to the terms specifically stated in this agreement.
Except where otherwise required by applicable law, Annie’s Cavapoo Puppies is not responsible for:

Veterinary expenses
-
Medications
-
Diagnostic testing
-
Treatment costs
-
Transportation
-
Travel
-
Boarding
-
Loss of income
-
Other incidental expenses
-
Other costs incurred by the Buyer
The remedies available under this guarantee are limited to those expressly described in this agreement.
Nothing in this guarantee is intended to waive or limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.
9. Transfer and Ownership
This guarantee applies to the original Buyer identified in this agreement unless otherwise agreed in writing by Annie’s Cavapoo Puppies.
The Buyer agrees not to surrender, rehome, euthanize, sell, or transfer the puppy in connection with a suspected claim under this guarantee without first contacting Annie’s Cavapoo Puppies regarding the situation.
If the Buyer becomes unable to keep the Cavapoo puppy, the Buyer should contact Annie’s Cavapoo Puppies so that appropriate arrangements can be discussed.
10. Complimentary Pet Insurance Opportunity
For additional peace of mind, Annie’s Cavapoo Puppies may provide a complimentary pet insurance opportunity when available.
Any pet insurance offer, enrollment, eligibility, coverage, waiting periods, exclusions, deductibles, benefit limits, and other terms are determined by the insurance provider and are separate from this Cavapoo genetic health guarantee.
The availability of complimentary insurance does not modify or replace the terms of this guarantee.
11. Buyer Acknowledgment
By signing below, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions of this 2-Year Genetic Health Guarantee for Cavapoo Puppies.
The Buyer understands that this guarantee specifically concerns qualifying life-altering genetic or hereditary conditions and does not constitute a guarantee that the puppy will never experience illness, injury, or another medical condition.
The Buyer also acknowledges their responsibility to provide appropriate nutrition, veterinary care, preventative care, safe housing, exercise, socialization, and responsible lifelong care.
