Are the parents health-tested?

Yes. Both parents carry current OFA clearances (cardiac, patella, hips where applicable), CAER eye exams, and a 220+ variant DNA panel. We share the full documentation with you before reservation.

Do puppies come with a health guarantee?

Every puppy leaves with a written two-year health guarantee against genetic conditions, plus age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and a microchip registered to you.

What about allergies and shedding?

Both breeds are low-shedding, and many of our families with mild allergies do very well. We are happy to arrange an in-person or video 'sniff test' with a parent dog before you commit.

How are puppies socialized?

From the first week they are handled daily, exposed to household sounds, children, and other gentle dogs, and started on crate and potty routines well before homecoming.

What do you feed the puppies?

Litters are weaned onto a premium, grain-inclusive kibble formulated for small-breed puppies. We send a starter bag and a written feeding schedule home with every puppy.

Should I switch foods when I bring my pup home?

We recommend keeping the same food for at least the first month to avoid stomach upset. Any switch should be gradual over 7–10 days, mixing increasing proportions of the new food.

How often should my puppy eat?

Under four months, three meals a day. From four to six months, twice daily is usually fine. Fresh water should always be available.

Do you recommend supplements or treats?

A plain, high-quality puppy food covers their needs — no supplements are needed for a healthy pup. For treats, keep them tiny and use them for training; we share our favorites in your homecoming packet.

What should I buy before my puppy arrives?

A crate sized for an adult toy breed, a washable crate pad, stainless bowls, the food we send, a few safe chew toys, an enzymatic cleaner, and baby gates. We provide a full checklist with your reservation.

When can my puppy come home?

Puppies go to their families at eight weeks, once they are weaned, vet-checked, and emotionally ready. Exact dates are confirmed two weeks ahead.

How do I handle the first night?

Keep things calm and quiet. A crate beside your bed with a worn shirt for scent helps most pups settle within a few nights. We are always a call or text away if you need reassurance.

Do you offer support after I take my puppy home?

Always. Annie remains available by phone for the lifetime of your puppy, and if circumstances ever change, your dog always has a home back with us.

How do deposits work?

A $800 deposit reserves a specific puppy or a place on an upcoming litter. It is non-refundable, applied in full toward your puppy's price, and the balance is due at pickup. We accept deposit by card, Zelle, or PayPal once you and Annie have agreed on a match.

Do you offer pickup or delivery?

Yes. You are welcome to collect your puppy in person at our home in Champion, Michigan. For families further afield, we offer ground delivery within a 4-hour radius and a flight nanny (in-cabin) service to most major airports — Annie coordinates the option that fits your puppy's age and your location.

Will my puppy have a health check before going home?

Every puppy has a final wellness exam with our licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup, including heart, lungs, patellas, eyes, and bite. You receive a signed veterinarian health certificate along with your health-guarantee paperwork.

What vaccinations will my puppy have had?

Your puppy receives age-appropriate core vaccinations (typically the first at six weeks and a booster at eight weeks), a deworming schedule, and flea prevention as needed. We send the full vaccination record so your vet can continue the series on time.

What's included when I take my puppy home?

Your puppy travels with a starter bag of its current food, the written two-year health guarantee, the vet health certificate and vaccination record, AKC or microchip registration paperwork, a blanket with the litter's scent, and a homecoming guide covering feeding, crate training, and the first week.

How do waiting lists work?

When a litter isn't yet available, you may join the waitlist with a deposit; families are offered puppies in deposit order, with Annie matching each puppy's temperament to the right home. If the timing or puppy isn't right for you, your deposit can roll forward to the next litter.
